How EverythingVC researches the European venture market.
Our methodology is designed to make scope, sources, uncertainty and freshness visible. Records are written for Europe-wide discovery rather than copied from national products.
Directory inclusion
A firm needs a documented European headquarters, staffed European investment office, explicit European mandate or sustained investment activity across European markets. Headquarters and investment geography are recorded separately.
Active status
Current activity needs evidence such as a deploying fund, a recent investment, an active investment page or a current manager statement. Historical reputation alone is not sufficient.
Sources
We prefer fund-manager websites, regulatory disclosures, institutional announcements and other primary documents. Reputable reporting may provide context, but material claims should be traceable to an attributable source.
Profile indexation
A profile remains excluded from search indexing until it has enough original, source-backed information to answer European mandate, active fund, stage, sector, ticket, investment-example and founder-fit questions.
Review dates
A review date means the cited claims were checked on that date. It does not imply that every fact changed. Material updates receive a new modified date and, where useful, a visible correction or change note.
Briefs and events
Briefs distinguish reported facts from analysis and link to the supporting material. Event records are checked against organiser sources and removed from the upcoming view after they expire.
Corrections are part of the process.
Firms, founders and readers can submit a correction with supporting links through the contact page. We review the evidence independently and update the record when warranted.
